The art of passementerie, once used as ornamental elements for the aristocracy, high clergy and military, has been reinterpreted by Anna e Alex creating unique jewellery collections. Threads of silk, lamé, cottons, tinted and hand braided by specialized Italian artisans, give life to infinite combinations of colours and shapes that interweave, and are finished with a single stitch. The Lanterna earrings are among the Anna e Alex evergreen designs. The complex interwoven work defined as ‘torto e ritorto’ is beautifully enhanced with a unique choice of colours.
